Serving the persecuted church in PakistanTrip to Pakistan

President  Haye, his wife Carol, and two PHC students, Andrew and Reuben, traveled to Pakistan with All Neighbors International (ANI). PHC is home to a Christian Homeschool basketball programThe Loudoun Patriots (1)

PHC's gymnasium is home to The Loudoun County Patriots, a Christian homeschool basketball association ranging from middle school to varsity. Tom Ziemnick, who serves as Vice President for Advancement at PHC, has coached various Loudoun Patriots’ teams since 2014. Read more.

Students asked. PHC heard them. PHC converted the basketball court•    Christian intellectual delivers the Faith & Reason lecture next to Oak Hill dorm into a dual-purpose basketball/pickleball court. The result? Glorious! Read more.


 

Taking chapel services to the next level

This year, President Haye spearheaded an ongoing project to improve collegiate corporate chapels. The goal? An improvement of the worship experience for students. To achieve this,  PHC hired alumna Hannah Davidsmeier for a new position, Associate Director of Chapel Worship and Arts at PHC. Read the story.


 

PHC hosts 5K to benefit Tree of Life
Tree of Life 5K

Tree of Life Ministries, a local nonprofit, partnered with PHC to hold a 5K fundraiser. Their goal was to raise money for their shelter branch, which offers affordable housing to struggling families, single women, and people with special needs.  Read more.

PHC alumna becomes law school professor - Kelsey Morris (Government, '08) is the Assistant Professor of Legal Research and Writing at Pepperdine Law School. Read more.

 

Calvin Huh, Moot Court champMoot Court champion starts at top-tier law school - Calvin Huh (EBA, GOV-Political Theory, ‘24) is attending top-tier law school,  Stanford University. Read more.

 

Ashlyn Roberts-3Alumna returns to PHC to teach mock trial - Ashlyn Roberts (GOV-APP, ‘16)  joined the PHC faculty as Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy last fall. Read more.

Rachel McCracken-1What PHC's new RD learned from working with hurting teens - Rachel McCracken (CLA, ‘23) worked at Christian Encounter Ranch (CER), a residential program in California for troubled teens, before starting as PHC’s women's Resident Director. Read more.

Jesse & RebeccaPHC students accepted into Students for Life leadership program - Jesse Castrinos and Rebecca Rose were selected to participate in a year-long fellowship through The National Leaders' Collective, a group of pro-life student leaders. Read more.


 

An amazing new dormitory opens

“My jaw dropped to the floor upon entering,” sophomore Emily Coit said. She and her wingmates were the first through the door for Shiloh’s March 15 open house. “It felt like I was walking into a luxury apartment!” Women moved into Shiloh—PHC’s newest dorm—at the beginning of April 2024. PHC trained and developed over 130 competitive orators in a single year, the largest forensics program in the nation. (4)
