PRE-REGISTRATION PERIOD - for continuing students this occurs near the mid-point of the semester, allowing students to pre-register for the following semester; for new students, this occurs after submission of the confirmation deposit. 2. DROP/ADD PERIOD - begins on the first day of each term and closes according to the dates published in the Academic Calendar. This is the final opportunity for students to add most courses to their schedule for a given term. A student is not eligible to graduate unless application is made. The application is specific to the semester of graduation; failure to complete coursework in that semester requires reapplication.
