Patrick Henry College is committed to providing the best help available to our students. The school has contracted with some local professional counselors to provide on campus counseling for students free of charge. The counselors seek to utilize their professional training to assist students in their growth and development. They offer individual counseling appointments as well as small group opportunities.
Tracy is a licensed counselor.
Appointments are held in offices located in the lower level of Hodel Campus Center. Meetings are scheduled through email: Tracy - tbcarter@phc.edu
Patrick Henry College offers on-campus and distance learning students tutoring services through the Study Support Center (contact us at ssc@phc.edu). Upperclassmen who have excelled in their studies are selected to serve as peer tutors to those who are struggling academically or those who simply have questions about their studies. Tutors can help you with time-management issues, with your writing, and with subject-specific questions. They can offer advice on study habits, suggest ways to improve your papers, and help you work through your assignments. These positions are paid by the school, and students receive tutoring services at no extra charge.
