Renewing Our Minds: PHC Professor Brad Littlejohn Speaks at Bethlehem College

 Patrick Henry College professor of government, Brad Littlejohn, spoke at Bethlehem College on his paper “Renewing Our Minds: Natural Law, the Problem of Uncertainty, and the Recovery of Prudence” earlier this month. 

Dr. Littlejohn discussed the importance of prudence in the history of Christianity and the danger of using the Bible as a means to answer every question. Dr. Littlejohn started working for PHC in 2018 and gave a Faith and Reason lecture this fall. He holds a Master of Theology in Theological Ethics from the University of Edinburgh, an M.A. in Trinitarian Theology and Culture from New Saint Andrews, and a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Culture from New Saint Andrews.

He has published several books, including The Mercersburg Theology and the Quest for Reformed Catholicity, Richard Hooker: A Companion to His Life and Work, The Two Kingdoms: A Guide for the Perplexed, and The Peril and Promise of Christian Liberty: Richard Hooker, the Puritans, and Protestant Political Theology.
