Tasha Hogan, M.M.

Time at PHC: 2009 to present

Professor Hogan teaches Music History and Appreciation at PHC. She also teaches string lessons privately and at the Suzuki Music School of Maryland and has been a teaching assistant in bibliography, library, and musicology at the Peabody Conservatory. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Viola Performance.

As a performer, Professor Hogan has been selected to participate in several music festivals and international tours.  As a violist, she has performed with the Annapolis Symphony, the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and the Baltimore Symphony.  Professor Hogan's pedagogical research has been published by The Journal of the Minnesota String and Orchestra Teachers Association. Professor Hogan and her husband reside in Columbia, Maryland.
