Professor Eric Arthurton has always been interested in languages. He began studying Spanish and French in high school, and over the years has dabbled in several other languages including biblical Hebrew, biblical Greek, Portuguese, and German. Professor Arthurton started teaching more than 20 years ago and designed the HSLDA Online Academy's Spanish Program curriculum. 

Professor Arthurton earned his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and French languages and his Master of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature at the University of California, Riverside. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. 

Professor Arthurton currently resides in Apple Valley, California with his beautiful wife and five wonderful children. He enjoys reading Christian apologetics and being active in his children's education. Professor Arthurton is also an avid square dancer and is currently learning to be a square dance caller.
