Julianne is delighted to serve Governor Youngkin and the Commonwealth of Virginia as Deputy Director of the Virginia Department of Energy, after having had the honor of serving as Chief of Staff to the Lieutenant Governor of Virginia from 2022 to 2024.

With experience that spans the government and political spheres, as well as corporate and non-profit spaces, Julianne has advocated for a variety of interests at the state and local levels. Over the years, Julianne has worked to promote civic engagement and to synthesize constitutional principles in a meaningful way for students and adults. She is often sought out for speaking engagements on politics, policy, energy, education, and leadership.

She is honored to have served as the Vice Chair on the Richmond Sister Cities Commission and as the former Chair of the Poland Committee. In 2023, she led an official delegation from Richmond on a Sister Cities trip to Poland. She has served as the Vice President of the Ginter Park Residents Association. Julianne has served members of the Virginia General Assembly as Legislative Assistant/Chief of Staff, and held various roles on political campaigns.
