Time at PHC: 2015 to present

Mrs. McCormick serves as the Adjunct Professor of Voice at PHC. She received her undergraduate degree in Classical Voice and Business from the University of Alabama. She has extensive background as a performer in professional musical theater, opera, and concert settings. She is a coloratura soprano but is also well-versed in contemporary and musical theater styles. After taking time away from her performing career to raise her two children, Rebekah returned to singing professionally and is now finishing her master’s degree in vocal pedagogy from Westminster Choir College of Rider University. She studies with Metropolitan Opera soprano, Danielle Talamantes, and is an active performer in the Northern Virginia area. Rebekah is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and frequently attends workshops and symposiums related to vocal training and research. Rebekah and her husband, Dr. Scott McCormick, are blessed to work together at PHC and often collaborate on concert programs.
