Patrick Henry College
Take a glimpse into Strategic Intelligence camp 2010 by clicking on one of the photos in the gallery below. SI camp is a project of the Nathan Hale Center for Intelligence Studies, an organization founded by PHC alumni. Senior Stephen Williams managed this year's camp, which introduced high-school students to many different aspects of the National Security community. As always, despite the entertaining and colorful "missions" that campers conduct in the evenings, SI majors at PHC want to communicate that their intended career field involves much more analysis and careful data-gathering than darting about in black outfits and body armor.
"As camp director, my job was to shape our thinking with rightly-ordered patriotism, and to get people to think about their intended calling, whatever that may be," notes Williams, indicating that "not all, or even most, attendees will want to enter the National Security community.
"We can all start to pursue our callings proactively, even at age 15," he says.
Patrick Henry College is one of only a few institutes of higher education that equips men and women with the history, skills, and training to enter this highly valuable field. Visit the Government: Strategic Intelligence page for more information.
