Executive Assistant to the President
Executive Assistant to the Dean of Academic Affairs
HVAC & Building Systems Supervisor

Patrick Henry College is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to the President. The Assistant is responsible for all aspects of the President’s calendar, communications, and office records. This position will also support the President in his secondary roles, such as professor of Business Analytics classes and instructor for the College's summer leadership camp for teens. The Assistant also serves as the organizer for the President’s Office for events throughout the year.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Schedule travel, meetings, media interviews, and other speaking engagements for the President
Receive all mail, e-mails, and phone calls that come to the Office of the President and determine which items the President should respond to personally, finding a balance between professionalism and protection of the President’s time and talent
Draft letters of response and return phone calls as necessary
Schedule chapel speakers and interface with Chapel Worship and Arts for Chapel programming; handle all schedule changes and communications related to Chapel and act as organizer for outside Chapel speakers
Perform other duties as requested by the Executive Vice President
Coordinate preparation of Board of Trustees meetings
Schedule and oversee logistics for Board of Trustees meetings
Work with Executive Vice President to coordinate annual Top 10 Strategic Planning meeting
Administrative support for preparation of classroom teaching materials for President and Executive Vice President
Coordinate weekly dinners with students for Executive Vice President
Schedule bi-weekly Executive Team and bi-weekly Dean’s meetings
Take minutes for the Executive Team meetings
Take minutes for the Board of Trustees Academic & Students Affairs meeting
Assist Student Life with Convocation
Plan the annual Christmas Party and provide support for Alumni Christmas Party as needed
Oversee the Executive suite; maintain office supplies, refreshment stocking, and coordinate seasonal décor
Send graduation letter to commencing seniors’ parents
Assist Student Life with graduation details, particularly with Commencement speaker communication
Organize Faith & Reason twice a year in conjunction with the Academic Dean
Organize All Employee Meetings twice a year
Coordinate with students who wish to schedule meetings with the President
Assist the President by hosting visiting dignitaries and special guests
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Reconcile the President’s business credit card using RAMP
Reconcile the Executive Vice President’s business credit card using RAMP
Handle submission of check requests coming through the President’s office
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree
Attention to detail, organizational skills
Ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously, meeting all deadlines
Excellent hosting skills and ability to plan and execute events according to the President’s specifications
Excellent communication/customer service skills with students, faculty, staff, and outside parties

The Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Academic Affairs performs a variety of administrative support activities for the Dean of Academic Affairs, the Associate Dean, department chairmen, and faculty members. The Administrative Assistant serves as a liaison between the Office of Academic Affairs, students, faculty, staff, and external constituents.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Facilitating faculty senate and relevant faculty meetings
Record keeping, taking meeting minutes, and following up on matters arising from meetings
Coordinating new faculty searches
Providing and coordinating staff and office support by processing reimbursements, purchase orders, check requests, budget tracking, and monthly expense reconciliation
Monitoring office supplies, equipment, and inventory
Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Dean, Associate Dean, or Chairman
Assisting in the maintenance of faculty documentation and adherence to accreditation policies
Assisting students in filing academic forms with the Office of the Registrar, as well as filing accommodations with the Dean
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Superior organizational skills, courtesy, professionalism, a cooperative attitude, and experience communicating effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing
Knowledge of office management principles and procedures

Patrick Henry College is seeking a Computer Support Technician to provide technology support for faculty, staff, and students to resolve computer hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. The Computer Support Technician will install and deploy new computers; manage user accounts and access; and provide training and guidance to student technicians. Must have a strong desire to learn technology.

Provide second-level tech support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues

Lead conceptual design, schematic development, and architectural drawings for campus projects consistent with PHC’s colonial style.
Oversee the development and verification of engineering drawings, preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, bid packages, and contract documentation.
Manage relationships with engineers, consultants, contractors, and campus stakeholders.
Conduct regular site inspections; ensure compliance with plans, budgets, timelines, Virginia building codes, ADA, fire & safety standards.
Provide ongoing oversight with the assistance of others for construction, quality assurance, and cost control throughout the build lifecycle.
Advise college leadership on facility planning, sequencing, campus master plan implementation, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
Active Architectural License in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Minimum of 5 years of experience
Demonstrated proficiency in classical/colonial architectural design (strongly preferred)
Exceptional organizational, analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Patrick Henry College is seeking an HVAC & Building Systems Supervisor to maintain and care for campus HVAC and building systems which are essential for creating a comfortable and welcoming environment where college students can focus on learning and personal growth in Christ.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all heating and air conditioning systems to maximize efficiency and reliability.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty HVAC and building systems.
Supervise and manage outside contractors for various building trades
Obtain and carefully review quotes, bids, and contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness of all documents.
Respond on-site to after-hours emergency calls.
Observe and monitor general condition and appearance of all physical plant assets, proactively keeping them in excellent functional and aesthetic order.
