The Data Analyst represents Patrick Henry College as a professional who demonstrates excellences in speech, attitude, critical thinking, love for Christ, and love for the mission of PHC. The Data Analyst will pay close attention to detail and thrive in an environment with many moving parts. This team member will have a “can-do” attitude and the ability to think creatively and quickly. The Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the Admissions databases. The primary goal of the position is to help the college enrollment and prospect volume grow via efficient databases, processes, and strategies.

Work 40 hours per week
Manage and upkeep the applicant and prospect systems and deliver reports and analyze data as the annual schedule indicates or as needed.
Maintain accurate records on all prospects, applicants, and deposited students and take the lead in developing office-wide policies to ensure data integrity within the HubSpot CRM.
Manage the processing side of the application cycle: loading applications, downloading applications from systems, managing document tracking and verifying that the information submitted is accurate, scanning documents, and routing completed files to Admissions Counselors
Assist the Director of Student Recruitment in the Annual Admissions Plan via efforts with data analytics and creative innovation.
Oversee the File Verification process, including processing final high school and college transcripts, gathering all the necessary documentation for Student Life & Registrar offices (and any others) for incoming enrolled students, and preparing files for the Director of Student Recruitment to view. This also includes monitoring files and shredding any unnecessary applicant materials.
100% cross-trained with the Financial Aid Officer.
Assist in interviewing applicants, awarding scholarships, and assisting with Campus Visits/tours as well as traveling to/assisting with events
Other duties as assigned.
Must hold a four-year college degree or commensurate experience.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external constituents.
Strong technical and computer-related skills, including strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Demonstrates strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills, with the ability to balance routine tasks and long-term projects while meeting specific deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize systems and spreadsheets.
Willing and able to travel as needed (approx. 1-2 weeks a year) to support operational or project objectives.
