Full-time Position: Campus Visits Coordinator

Location: on-site in Purcellville, VA

CAMPUS VISITS COORDINATOR

The Campus Visits Coordinator will play a central role in helping the College achieve its enrollment goals by creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere for campus visitors & staff, managing the Campus Visits program, and assisting the Director of Student Recruitment and other office staff in executing day-to-day tasks. 

 

Job Responsibilities & Functions

  • Work 40 hours per week

  • Oversee Campus Visits & supervise Campus Visits Assistants (student workers)

  • Oversee personal campus visits, 4 Open Houses, Admitted Students Day, and New Student Orientation Check-Ins

  • Greet campus visitors and others who come into the office, assist or refer them as needed. Ensure hospitality supplies are filled and oversee general office cleanliness

  • Serve as the first contact for general phone calls or Campus Visits emails and respond or route as necessary

  • Process registration for recruitment events

  • Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Student Recruitment

  •  Financial responsibilities

    • Open House

    • Orientation Check-In

    • ASD budget fulfillment

    • YOY discipline

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must enthusiastically subscribe to the College’s statement of faith.

  • Excellent clerical skills including typing, filing, computer literacy and basic math.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organized.

  • Ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously.

  • Is a team player.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and reach onto shelving units.

  • Must be able to make quick decisions with available information.

  • Must be calm in stressful situations and show good judgment in decision-making.

  • Must be able to work in a collaborative manner with excellent self-discipline.


Interaction/Communication

  • Nature of Communication: Information sharing, advising, and planning.

  • Internal: Work with other departments in setting up arrangements for campus visitors, Admissions-related campus events, and other projects as they arise.

  • External: External communications are routine with prospective students, parents, other institutions, churches, homeschool groups, vendors, and suppliers.

 

Employee Classification:

Full-time, non-exempt (on-site/in person)
