The Patrick Henry College student body enjoys a close-knit, active social life -- from dance events both formal and informal to yearly Homecoming events to an ongoing friendly football rivalry between the men's dorms. As the community continues to mature, traditions develop.

BobFest | 2008 Pictures A relatively recent addition, BobFest (or Lake Bob Day), completes the spring semester with a rousing combination of sun, fun, and water. During this no-swimming event, students use flotation devices of every description to enjoy their lake or fly down a zipline for a quick and thrilling dunk. |

Homecoming | 2008 Pictures | 2007 Every year, Patrick Henry College students mark Homecoming Weekend as a chance to enjoy PHC Sentinels soccer games, a traditional alumni/student football match, and various inter-class competitions throughout the week. 2008 Homecoming was also marked by a final concert featuring Andy Zipf, an indie music artist. |

D4 Block Party | 2008 Pictures The men of Oak Hill Dorm - known on-campus as D4 - are fond of sports, music, and good grilling. For the last two years, they have hosted the D4 Block Party, a one-day festival of burgers, hot dogs, live music talent, and a 100-player dodgeball team tournament. |

The Harmonicomedy | Spring '08 Pictures In spring 2007, Scott York and David Carver (now graduated) put on the student body's first Harmonicomedy, a talent showcase blending students' musical talent and comedy. Since then, the Harmonicomedy has quickly become a semester-favorite, as students enjoy the relief from studies and a general good time. |
