  • Reference Collection
  • Pamphlet Collection
  • Oversize Collection
  • Law Collection
  • Video Collection
  • Audio Collection
  • Microform Collection
  • Periodical Collection

Each of these collections is housed in a separate location within the main Library. All of the collections are organized according to the Library of Congress Classification System with the exception of those that contain audio/visual materials.

Reserve Collection

The Reserve collection, located behind the Circulation counter, is a special, temporary collection of print and non-print materials created by faculty requests. These items are either required or supplementary readings for current classes and are designated for short- term circulation.

Microprint Collection

As part of the Microform collection, we have acquired the Early American Imprints and Early American Newspapers microprint collections.

Early American Imprints is two series reproducing every existent book, pamphlet and broadside published in America from 1639 through 1800 (Early American Imprints. Series I) and from 1801 to 1819(Early American Imprints. Series II). These are the complete non-serial source materials of American history for the 17th and 18th centuries.

Early American Newspapers reproduces the early American newspapers printed from 1690-1820.
