Distance Learning Adjunct Faculty

We anticipate hiring additional instructors for the school’s expanding Distance Learning program. Adjunct faculty will likely be needed for freshman- and sophomore-level courses in English Composition, Theology, Western Literature, U.S. History, History of Western Civilization, Logic, Philosophy, and Economics. A qualified DL instructor will teach one or two courses per semester, deliver the course(s) over the internet, possess at least an MA (and a minimum of eighteen graduate hours in his instructional field), and be in full agreement with PHC’s mission and doctrinal statements. Classroom teaching experience at the collegiate level is strongly preferred; internet-based instructional experience is not required.

Hiring decisions will likely be made in June 2008 for classes to begin in August 2008.
Send cover letter, resume, personal statement of faith, and list of three references (one pastoral) to Dr. Robert Spinney, Director of Distance Learning, at jobs@phc.edu or fax to (540) 338-8707.
