Additional Details
Latin I & II are each worth three college credits for successful completion. Latin I and II are not available through audit. Latin II is offered for those who have successfully completed Latin I. Both courses are taught by Dr. McRoberts, who holds a doctorate in Classics from UW Madison and teaches PHC's on-campus Latin courses.
When you receive the materials, you may begin working on the lessons. As this is a traditional correspondence course, you will complete lessons sequentially and submit them via U.S. Mail. They will then be corrected, your grade will be recorded, and the assignments will be returned to you. There are 20 Lessons total in the course, and the Course Manual contains comprehensive instructions for the assignment and examination submission process.
A reasonable expectation is that you will finish the course in 16 weeks. If you have not completed all 20 Lessons and both the midterm and final exams by that point you will receive a grade of F for the course and will not be allowed to proceed to Latin II.
