Liberty Ball 2009

The 2009 Liberty Ball this April was an elegant affair, organized by juniors Christy Hailes and Susanna Foote at the beautiful Foxchase Manor in Manassas, VA. As a highlight of the evening, senior Derek Archer delivered the famous Patrick Henry "give me liberty" speech -- and then turned to his girlfriend, sophomore Tricia Rohde, and proposed, to the delight of all those present. The event, a longstanding PHC tradition, was preceded by a few months' worth of ballroom dancing lessons presented by senior Paul-David Paratore and freshman Jacob Parrish.
