Alumni Hannah Curby (Literature '06) has served in mission work in Messina, Sicily. "A lot of people don't think of Italy or Europe as a mission field [but] there is a real spiritual hunger here. Religion is seen as something from the past ... and not as something that has anything to do with real life," Curby said.

The organization she worked with is an international church planting organization. "We wanted to be able to introduce people to Jesus, who has an effect on every day life and to the Gospel."
