PHC's "Amber" mock trial team just finished 10th in their division, with Caleb Knox and Joshua Revoir both earning All-American awards at The American Mock Trial Association's National Championship! Read our recap of the season.
26 teams from 20 different schools, including Georgetown, UVA, and Duke, competed in the Tobacco Road Invitational. PHC's "Navy" team competed and won "Spirit of Brightleaf," which is a peer-awarded professionalism award, and Calvin Huh won both an Outstanding Attorney and an Outstanding Witness award.
16 teams from 16 different schools, including Boston University, Princeton, and MIT competed in the Bulldog Invitational. PHC placed 5th with Lauren Rule winning an Outstanding Attorney award and Caleb Knox winning an Outstanding Witness award.
22 teams from 21 different schools, including Chicago, Yale, Harvard, UVA, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Irvine, and Northwestern competed in the Great Chicago Fire tournament. The "Amber" team competed and Haley Bock earned an Outstanding Attorney award.
24 teams from 21 different schools, including UPenn, Penn State, William and Mary, and Duke competed at the Hilltop Invitational. PHC's "Gold" and "Cobalt" teams competed, and James Elliott earned both an Outstanding Witness and an Outstanding Attorney award.
24 teams competed for six bids to ORCS, including American University, Boston College, George Washington University, and Georgetown in the Haverford Regional. PHC's "Gold" team earned an honorable mention and an open bid to ORCS. James Elliott and Sarah Crosby both earned All-Regional Witness awards, and Ainsley Stellman earned an All-Regional Attorney award.
24 teams competed for six bids to the NCT, including teams from Duke, Emory, and William and Mary. Our "Amber" team earned a NCT bid and Lauren Rule and Hope Rawlson earned All-National Attorney awards.
48 teams in two 24-team divisions competed for the title of Champion, including Harvard, Chicago, UCLA, Yale, University of Virginia, Georgetown, and Rhodes. PHC's "Amber" team placed 10th in the Myra Bradwell Division. Caleb Knox earned an All-American Attorney award and Joshua Revoir earned an All-American Witness award.
