From Ministry to Muckraking: The Biblical Basis for Investigative Reporting

After five years of full-time Christian ministry, including three as a missionary in Kenya, Marshall Allen became a reporter. His excellent work on the cost of health care with the Las Vegas Sun drew national attention and he now writes for ProPublica, a mainstream news service.

In a recent essay Allen explains why, even though journalists and Christians tend to be skeptical of each other, Christianity made him a better reporter.
