Apprenticeship 3 Square & Highlights

Apprenticeships, including internships, follow the classical model of preparing students for their Christian vocation by sending them out to practice their craft under a master/mentor after a rigorous training in the classical liberal arts.  With significant work-related experience before graduation, our students leave PHC prepared for the future.

All of Patrick Henry College's academic programs require between 8 and 23 credits of apprenticeships.  PHC's location 50 miles from Washington D.C., and PHC's reputation for the highest quality interns opens doors for our students to participate in some of the nation's most desired undergraduate internships.

Many of Patrick Henry College’s alumni have found their first job, their callings, or their passions, in internship opportunities while they were at PHC.
