Professor Russell previously worked for the Charles G. Koch Foundation where he supervised interns and developed economic educational methodology, the Regulatory Economics Group where he analyzed corporate cost and profitability, and the Mackinac Center for Public Policy where he focused on state economic and educational policy. As a result of his work experience and educational background, Professor Russell focuses on practical economics, morality and culture of markets, and communicating economic ideas - particularly ideas related to public economics and taxation.
