Teen Leadership Camps provide an exciting context for students to explore an academic discipline and learn to apply a biblical worldview to the issues of today. Classroom sessions are taught by Patrick Henry faculty and other field experts, and field trips to nearby historical sites and centers of American government enhance the camps’ unique experience. Campers can also expect to gain a taste of PHC life as they live in the College residence halls, attend chapel, and interact with current PHC students serving as camp staff.
In 2001, Patrick Henry welcomed high school students from across the country to four one-week camps, and, since this inaugural year, Teen Leadership Camps has developed into a thriving program with over 1500 camp alumni. The Teen Camps blend of challenging classroom sessions mixed with more traditional camp activities, all presented from a distinctly Christian worldview, contributes uniquely to the mission of Patrick Henry College.
Teen Leadership Camps are open to students who will be 14-18 years old when camp begins. Teen Leadership Camps are presented from a distinctly Christian, Bible-based worldview. Each camper is expected to be respectful of this worldview and the PHC Statement of Faith, and to abide by the Student Covenant and Honor Code practiced by PHC students. Camp dates, costs, and other information are available from the links on the sidebar.
