Welcome to Dining Services with Bon Appétit Management Company at Patrick Henry College.
Patrick Henry College has contracted with Bon Appétit Management Company to operate its food services program. Bon Appétit works to establish itself as a leader in the food industry by using fresh, locally-grown produce, cooking from scratch, adding a gourmet touch and always maintaining high standards of health and quality. At PHC, our mashed potatoes are actually mashed potatoes, and you will find at least one vegetarian entrée at every meal. See the Bon Appetit website for more information.
The PHC dining hall currently resides on the first floor of Founder’s Hall and provides a warm, welcoming central gathering spot for campus. Students often study in the dining hall at all hours, taking breaks to drink tea or soda from the soda fountain. The friendly staff consists of both Bon Appétit employees and student workers.
With the completion of the new Student Life Center, dining hall operations are scheduled to move into the new building and expand in all facets to accommodate a growing student body, faculty and staff.
Meal Plan
The regular PHC meal plan covers 20 meals a week—everything but Sunday breakfast, which allows the kitchen workers to attend church services. Staff members or off-campus students may choose to opt out of the meal plan or may purchase 10-meal punch cards from the PHC Bookstore for $40. Otherwise, non-student guests and visitors can pay for single meals in the dining hall itself at the following rate: breakfast, $4; lunch, $5; dinner, $8.
