PHC Property Annexation to Aid Development
To the relief of Vice President for Campus Administration Earl Hall, the Town of Purcellville this week passed an ordinance annexing the last 66 acres of Patrick Henry College property. After an ongoing conversation of seven-and-a-half years between Hall and town planners, as of January 1, 2010 all College property will reside within Purcellville's jurisdiction, rather than part residing within Purcellville and part within Loudoun County. ...more

PHC Wins West Coast Moot Court Regionals
This moot court season, in its typical winning manner, Patrick Henry College entered three ACMA (American Collegiate Moot Court Association) regional moot court tournaments and dominated all three. Caleb & Kirsten Dalton: Family Teamwork & Law School
Last fall, new husband and 2008 PHC Government graduate Caleb Dalton directed over 1000 young volunteers around the country for Generation Joshua's (GenJ's) Student Action Teams. The teams supported over a dozen campaigns and were able to win some Congressional seats by 400 or 500 votes, a narrow margin that meant the work of the GenJ volunteers made a real difference. Now Dalton is planning for the fall and his impending move to Virginia Beach with his wife, Kirsten, and new daughter, Rachel Anne, in order to attend law school at Regent University. ...more

Debaters Excel at NFA's "Christian Nationals"
This past weekend, in Patrick Henry College's first nationwide competition as a new member of the National Forensics Association (NFA), senior David Kurashige brought home a first-place trophy in debate. Faith and Reason Series: The Great Tradition
The Patrick Henry College community takes a rest from its normal class schedule this upcoming Friday the 20th of February in order to consider the "Great Tradition" of liberal arts education. Guest speaker Dr. Richard Gamble, a prominent conservative scholar from Hillsdale College, will deliver the lecture "What Do We Owe the Great Tradition?" Faculty and students will break into small groups and discuss the topic further. Kenny Ly has a flare for the uncommon. He regularly traverses the Pacific Ocean at break time with his sister, Tia, a PHC junior, in order to spend time with their parents in China.
