Michele Del Mundo

Food Service General Manager

Michele has over 25 years of Food Service Industry experience in the Northern Virginia area. She has an extensive knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation. She has been the Food Service General Manager for the college since the opening of Patrick Henry College in 2000. She views her responsibility of running the dining commons not only as her job, but as a ministry to her staff and the students.

Michele is assisted in providing quality food service by Anthony Nabong, Executive Chef, and Leandro Herrera, Sous Chef. A dedicated team of full and part-time staff and dozens of student employees round out the team that works tirelessly to keep the campus well-fed.

PHC partners with Bon Appétit to provide its campus food service. Bon Appétit proudly proclaims, “We are a culture driven to create food that is alive with flavor and nutrition, prepared from scratch using authentic ingredients.” The PHC Dining Commons serves the students for all regular meals. Catering services are also available for events on campus.

Meal Plans & Tickets

All resident students must purchase a meal plan for each academic semester in which they reside in a College residence hall.

First-year freshman resident students must purchase the 21-meal-per-week plan. This meal plan allows access to the Dining Commons once during each meal service period offered within a Sunday through Saturday week.

First-year resident students who are sophomores and above and resident students returning for their second or subsequent academic years may purchase either the 21-meal-per-week plan or the 15-meal-per-week plan.

The 15-meal-per-week plan allows access to the Dining Commons for any meal service period offered within a Sunday through Saturday week up to 15 entries. After 15 entries within any Sunday through Saturday week, the student must then pay retail for each subsequent entry desired until the start of the next Sunday through Saturday week.

The only opportunity to change meal plans is at time of purchase prior to the start of the applicable academic semester. No changes in meal plans may be made once the academic semester begins.
