Dr. Kristina Tanner (Lobenhoffer) has given private piano lessons at the Olenka School of Music, Musicians Institute of Baltimore, Trinity Arts Academy, and her home studio. She has also been a Teaching Assistant in Class Piano at the University of Maryland, as well as Teaching Assistant in Ethomusicology, Music Library/Bibliography, and Music Literature/History at the Peabody Conservatory.

Dr. Tanner received the La Gesse Fellowship for performances in France and at Carnegie Hall. She received the Peabody Conservatory’s Lillian Freundlich Award. She was a winner at the MasterWorks Festival Concerto Competition, the MTNA Tennessee Competition, and the Vanderbilt Concerto Competition.

She teaches Beginning Piano, Intermediate Piano, Advanced Piano, Aural Skills, Music Theory I, and Music History and Appreciation at Patrick Henry College.
