Journalism Camp Description

Journalism camp is taught by Patrick Henry College’s highly experienced Chairman of the Department of Government and Assistant Professor of Journalism, Dr. Les Sillars. This camp will create a virtual news world right on the campus of PHC, with several competing newspapers assigned tasks of discovering, reporting, and writing news stories. Campers interact with a variety of successful Christian journalists from the Washington, D.C. area. As in past years, campers are guaranteed a Smörgåsbord of newsworthy incidents to help them bring their journalism training from the classroom to the press room.
