Commemorating the last day of classes for the 2012 spring semester, students gathered around Lake Bob Wednesday for an afternoon of zip-lining, boating, sidewalk art and ice cream. The occasion was a campus-wide celebration of the revival of Lake Bobfest, led by Dr. Steven Hake, chairman of the Department of Classical Liberal Arts.
After an intense semester of studying, research papers, and classes, getting soaked any number of ways remained a great way for students to momentarily decompress in anticipation of final exams. And while some students ventured into Lake Bob's opaque waters with trepidation, most revelers agreed: it may be a murky, algae-covered lake, but it's our murky, algae-covered lake.
After the lake-related events, the day concluded with the 13th Harmonicomedy, an evening of music, comedy, assorted theatrics and general silliness, hosted by Wesley Freeland and Ben Williamson.
